CHOOSING THE RIGHT FORMAT – THE DESIGNER'S METHOD
The most common mistake in interior art selection is choosing a format that feels "big enough" when viewed online, but disappears on the actual wall. Professional interior designers apply a simple rule : The artwork should occupy between 60% and 75% of the wall width it anchors. For a wall of 200 cm, this means a minimum width of 120 cm.
Reading distance also determines format. A panoramic artwork in a hotel corridor, viewed from 3 to 5 metres, requires a different resolution investment than a square piece above a bedside table. TAMAJAD formats are designed with both in mind.
